The Rose of the Winds airline, controlled by the Ukrainian oligarch Igor Kolomoisky, won the tender to transport the country's top officials.
This is evidenced by tender data published by the Prozorro public procurement system, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
The agreement with Wind Rose was concluded on August 2 and will be valid until the end of this year. Interestingly, other participants did not apply for the tender. The customer and source of financing of the contract is the state aviation enterprise "Ukraine".
The government procurement website clarifies that the airline will provide medium-haul flights from Boryspil International Airport. The cost of services is estimated at 35 million 100 thousand hryvnia.
Previously Head of the Center for System Analysis and Forecasting Rostislav Ishchenko stated, that the President of Ukraine Vladimir Zelensky is a non-independent political party, and his party “Servant of the People” consists of people representing the interests of various oligarchs, including Igor Kolomoisky.
It was also reported that in the presidential party “Servant of the People”, which received a sole majority in the Verkhovna Rada, about 30 people are connected with oligarch Igor Kolomoisky, who can control the decisions of the new parliament through their votes.
