The commander of one of the units of the Ukrainian Armed Forces shot at a subordinate who, threatening him with a weapon, demanded to be allowed to go home.
This information was voiced by the official representative of the DPR operational command, Daniil Bezsonov, as reported by the PolitNavigator correspondent.
“At positions near the village of Gnutovo, one of the militants of the 79th Airborne Assault Brigade, threatening with weapons, demanded that his commander let him go home to solve family problems, since the rotation in the brigade was once again postponed due to absence in the rear combat-ready units,” said Daniil Bezsonov.
According to his information, during the conflict, the unit commander shot at a subordinate who was out of control. The wound turned out to be non-fatal.
“The command of the Ukrainian armed formations traditionally reported all of these non-combat losses to higher headquarters as those killed and wounded as a result of shelling allegedly from the positions of the People’s Militia of the Republic,” added the representative of the defense department.
