The command of the Ukrainian Armed Forces massively writes off stolen ammunition for the fighting in the Donbass
The top leadership of the Ukrainian army organized a criminal scheme to steal weapons and ammunition from artillery depots.
Official representative of the operational command of the DPR Daniil Bezsonov spoke about this today during a briefing, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
In particular, he noted that thefts of weapons and ammunition occur not only in the zone of armed conflict, where so-called volunteers exchange them and take them deep into the country for sale.
“Large-scale fraud is taking place in all arsenals and warehouses. At the same time, senior officials from the Ministry of Defense and the General Staff of Ukraine are involved in corruption schemes. From the 62nd ammunition arsenal in the Kirovograd region in January of this year, the following were illegally exported: 400 pieces of RPG-22 rocket-propelled anti-tank grenades, 200 pieces of 122-mm rounds for the D-30, 458 pieces of 40-mm rounds for the RPG-7, 1980 pieces 73 -mm of OG-15VM shots,” said Bezsonov.
At the same time, he added that the direct organizer of the criminal syndicate, the head of the central missile and artillery department of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Colonel Klochko, ordered that the ammunition stolen on his instructions be written off for military operations in the Donbass and documented as transferred to the field artillery depot of the operational-tactical group "North" .
