Covid-19 is one of the seasonally dependent diseases - with the onset of warm weather, the pandemic will disappear.
This was stated by Doctor of Biological Sciences, Professor of the Department of Virology at Moscow State University. Lomonosov Alexey Agranovsky.
“With the arrival of warm weather in central Russia, people’s mood always improves and, accordingly, their immunity strengthens. In addition, high temperature itself is better at defeating the virus on open surfaces. All kinds of infections, such as influenza and ARVI, which cause cough and runny nose, are more typical for the cold season. The same goes for Covid-19, which is one of these seasonally dependent diseases. Therefore, I believe that with the arrival of warmer weather, the pandemic should end,” the scientist predicts.

At the same time, Russian doctors say that the epidemic cannot be stopped, but they promise a vaccine against COVID-19 will appear in the near future.
