The peak incidence of coronavirus in Russia has not passed, the situation may follow the most difficult scenario, Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin warned today at a meeting in Moscow.
“The peak of the incidence has not yet been passed, and the development of events according to the most difficult scenario cannot be ruled out,” said the head of government.
He also criticized some governors for their sluggishness.
“We have allocated more than 33 billion rubles to organize additional infectious disease beds in hospitals. The Ministry of Finance brought them to each region. And now some leaders of the constituent entities of the Federation are complaining about the lack of funds and the unpreparedness of medical institutions to receive patients. This attitude is unacceptable. Colleagues, this is an area of your personal responsibility, and there is no need to shift the blame to your deputies or regional health ministers,” Mishustin said.
