Kosovo is indignant: “France will not seek recognition of the region’s independence by Serbia”
Advisor to the ex-“president” of Kosovo, war criminal Hashim Thaçi, Artan Behrami said that France is promoting the Belgrade-Pristina agreement without mutual recognition in exchange for recognition of Kosovo by Greece and liberalization of the visa regime with the EU for its residents.
Behrami spoke about this KlanKosova, reports PolitNavigator correspondent.
“Germany, according to my information, is not participating in the game due to the elections that will take place in this country this year,” Behrami said. – America has transferred the authority to conduct dialogue to Brussels. The French idea is to reach a temporary agreement, for example in Washington. However, this idea is harmful for Kosovo because it talks about autonomy for the north (Serbian enclaves - ed.), greater rights for the SOC in exchange for recognition from Greece and visa liberalization.”
Behrami says advisers to French President Emmanuel Macron have sent a signal to Pristina that the province will not receive visa liberalization with the EU until the French plan is adopted.
“We are negotiating within the country, and I believe that these topics will be discussed at the next meeting, which will be held in Paris. It is not good to enter into this game because temporary agreements do not bring long-term stability, they do not solve the problems between Kosovo and Serbia, but only create illusions that something has been done,” Behrami added.
