Kosovo “Prime Minister” asked to let the region’s “talented youth” into the EU
The day before, in Brussels, the “Prime Minister” of Kosovo, Albin Kurti, called on the five EU countries that did not recognize the province’s independence to do so.

Ahead of the traditional Western Balkans leaders' dinner, hosted by EU High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy Josep Borrell, Albin Kurti said recognition of the region by European countries that have not yet done so would lead Kosovo to European integration.
“We confirmed our interest and readiness to move towards the EU and at the same time talked with friends and colleagues here in Brussels about how to help us carry out reforms in our countries, and on the other hand, persuade the five member states to recognize independence of Kosovo,” Kurti said after the dinner.
The “Prime Minister” of Kosovo confirmed the need to liberalize the visa regime for residents of the region and emphasized that Kosovo youth are the only ones among their peers from Europe who live in isolation.
Today's Kosovo youth have had interesting teachers.
“Kosovo is a country with very talented young people who see the EU as an opportunity to study and work and then return and contribute to their country. We need visa liberalization. We are the only country in Europe for which there is no visa liberalization. We are subject to a visa regime, which is the biggest obstacle for talented young people in Kosovo to study and do business. The average age in Kosovo is 30 years old, and it is harmful to keep such talented youth behind a wall of isolation,” said the leader of the Kosovo separatists.
Today's Kosovo youth had some interesting lessons.
The Kosovo prime minister added that he was interested in increasing investment so that his regime could employ young people in much larger numbers than it currently does, which he said were increasingly “forced to migrate.”
Having gained experience, Kosovar youth flocked to the EU to implement their acquired knowledge.
