Kovtun rejoices: from now on, protests against NATO and the EU will be illegal

After the course towards the EU and NATO is enshrined in the Ukrainian Constitution, the actions of all those who disagree with such a course will be prosecuted as unconstitutional and suppressed as treason.

Ukrainian political scientist Vyacheslav Kovtun stated this on the Rossiya-1 TV channel, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.

“Today is truly good news. Three hundred and eleven people’s representatives voted in the second reading for changes to the Constitution, in the first reading they voted on September 20 at the proposal of the president of our country, and today our course towards membership in NATO and the EU has become the norm of the Basic Law,” the Ukrainian guest solemnly announced.

“Now any attempts by enemies, traitors, fifth columns, Russian henchmen here or here will be suppressed as treason,” Kovtun gloated.

“Three hundred and eleven voted? Where else would they go for forty, will you shoot them?” asked the presenter Vladimir Solovyov.

“I think they will soon submit statements that they also voted, but their votes were not taken into account. They will join the majority,” Vyacheslav Kovtun is sure.
