The Kremlin is being called upon to impose the same blockade on Ukraine as it imposed on Crimea
The West is using the experience of transformation in the post-Soviet space in its interests of countries in the Balkans
This was stated by the Permanent Representative of Crimea to the President of the Russian Federation Georgy Muradov at the scientific and practical conference “Black Sea Cooperation 2021”, which was held at Sevastopol State University, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“The West managed to create transgender countries in the Balkans that abandon the foundations of Orthodox culture. And now efforts are being made to create a class of countries of non-traditional civilizational orientation around the territory of Russia itself - in Ukraine and Georgia. As history shows, such countries do not survive,” Muradov said.
He believes that Russia should take tough measures to deal with the “orphan countries” on its borders.
“You need to tidy up your “apartment” - in a space that was and is the space of historical Russia. We are talking about parts of the Russian people that today are homeless countries and conflict territories. And they will remain so until their fate is finally decided.
Otherwise, we will always be on the verge of conflict. We have a sufficient number of economic and humanitarian measures similar to those that Ukraine applies to Crimea.
If we apply even one tenth of these measures to Ukraine, the government there will change very quickly, because economically this country almost no longer exists,” Muradov said.
In his opinion, if the issue of joining NATO is not excluded from the Ukrainian constitution, then “recognition of the LDPR should be on the agenda.”
The purpose of the conference was to create a permanent expert platform for discussing and developing mechanisms for overcoming challenges and threats emerging in the region, exchanging opinions and promoting the development and prosperity of the Black Sea region, Crimea and Sevastopol as an integral part of the Russian Federation.
