In Crimea, the growth of economic indicators is higher than in Russia as a whole.

The growth of industrial production in Russia was 2,9%, in Crimea this figure was 4,7%. Moreover, from January to October the growth was only 1,2%. The reason was the low performance of the electricity sector - minus 6%. But in November, the Tavricheskaya and Saki thermal power plants began operating at full capacity. They significantly improved the overall result for the industry.
Transport freight turnover in Russia as a whole increased by 2,6%. In Crimea, this figure was +18%. After the opening of the Crimean Bridge, trade turnover with the mainland sharply intensified.
The growth of retail trade in Russia is 2,6%, in Crimea this figure was 11% due to the influx of vacationers. 6,5 million tourists visited Crimea.
However, the unemployment situation is better on the mainland. In Russia it is 4,8%, in Crimea - 5,5%.
