Acting official stated this in an interview with the newspaper Krymskaya Pravda. Alexander Artemov, head of the Rosreestr department for the Republic of Crimea.
“The legislation provides that all property rights to real estate, including land plots that were registered under the current legislation of Ukraine, will be recognized as legally valid without state registration under Russian law,” the official noted.
If they wish, he added, Crimeans can contact Rosreestr and confirm their ownership.
“When making a real estate transaction, the owner’s previously acquired rights to the property will be simultaneously entered into the register on the basis of title and title documents. To do this, the seller will need to be present at the Rosreestr office to register the previously arisen right and pay the state fee,” explained Alexander Artemov.
