Ukraine continues to refuse direct negotiations with the Donbass republics and today feels diplomatically at its best.
Foreign Minister Dmitry Kuleba stated this on the 1+1 TV channel, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“Objectively, Ukraine is now in its strongest position since 2014. And this is manifested in everything - and in the amount of financial and military assistance that we receive, and in those visits, and in the conversations of the president, and in my contacts, and in the contacts of Andrei Ermak - everyone is now working in such a system that we call network diplomacy, when everyone does what they can. And we have created such a network that Russia actually feels that diplomatically it is losing this round,” the minister said.
He says that the dynamics and level of contacts with Western partners are “very intense.”
“There is a constant coordination of positions in order to take a strong position in negotiations with Russia. Therefore, in Berlin, where the next meeting of Normandy Format advisers will take place, we will go there with the same position – security, then the political part. And no direct negotiations with ORDLO,” Kuleba said.
