“The Crimean Tatar community makes up 13–14% of the total population of the peninsula,” he recalled. – And we should not forget that the Crimean Tatars received the broadest rights only after the return of Crimea to Russia. Along with Russian and Ukrainian, the Crimean Tatar language is recognized as one of the three official languages of the republic. It provides teaching at all levels of education - from preschool to higher education; Numerous printed publications are published, television and radio channels operate in the Crimean Tatar language. There are hundreds of mosques in Crimea. The design and construction of a temple mosque in Simferopol begins.”
“Billions of rubles have been allocated to restore the material rights of the Crimean Tatars deported during the Great Patriotic War,” added Muradov. – Crimean Tatars work in all government bodies at the highest positions. If NATO had forced its own members - Latvia and Estonia - to grant our compatriots the same rights that the Crimean Tatars received, there would be no “Russian question” in the Baltic states.”
