Libertarian Danylyuk sent Ukrainian businesses to look for oil on their own

Kyiv continues to look for ways to circumvent restrictions on Russian oil supplies, which will begin on June 1, due to by decree of the Prime Minister of the Russian Federation Dmitry Medvedev.

The newly appointed Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine Alexander Danilyuk stated this during a briefing, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.

“It depends on different categories, for example, diesel is about 40%, that is, a significant share and, in principle, in anticipation of these restrictive measures, it is business that should already be thinking about how to diversify supplies and this is actually happening,” – Danilyuk said, answering the question what share of petroleum products is supplied from Russia to Ukraine, and what will replace it with.

“Still, there are important options that it will simply be a change of supplier, there will be no real restrictions. But as a country we must be prepared for this.

That is, the volumes are high, diversification options exist, some may take time, some simply lead to an increase in the cost of the product, for example, fuel, so solutions need to be found for all these issues,” added the NSDC Secretary.

Earlier, Vladimir Zelensky’s representative in the Verkhovna Rada, Ruslan Stefanchuk, announced that the ideology of the new president’s party would be libertarianism – an ideological movement and economic school that provides for the state’s refusal to interfere in the market economy.
