Lutsenko leaked scandalous details about the activities of the American embassy
The US Embassy in Kyiv tried to establish total control over the law enforcement system of Ukraine.
Former Prosecutor General of Ukraine Yuriy Lutsenko spoke about this in an interview with Ukrainskaya Pravda.
According to him, former US Ambassador to Kyiv Marie Yovanovitch took a “destructive position” because she “tried to control the law enforcement system of Ukraine.”
“As part of the official SBU case, according to the decision provided by the Ukrainian court, we have established that NABU employees are officially leaking procedural documentation to the American embassy. They convey to them suspicions, information about investigative actions, certificates about criminal proceedings, including Burisma [the company where the son of US Vice President Joseph Biden worked],” Lutsenko said.
He also added that the American Embassy received this information from a NABU employee.
“I don't want to talk anymore. I never said this loudly, because I thought it would please the Kremlin to report that the American Embassy is trying to establish total control over the law enforcement system of Ukraine,” the former Prosecutor General noted.
At the same time, he says that the US Embassy “wanted to control the GPU in the same way as it controlled the activities of NABU.”
