Lviv was marked by another Nazi Sabbath

On May 26, in Lviv, nationalists held a solemn march on the occasion of the “Day of Heroes”, during which they honored the memory of the OUN UPA, ATO participants and the “Heavenly Hundred”.

This was reported by Gazeta.ua, as reported by a PolitNavigator correspondent.

The event began with laying flowers at the monument to Stepan Bandera and other “fighters for the freedom of Ukraine.”

After this, the solemn procession went to the monument to Taras Shevchenko.

Representatives of nationalist and volunteer organizations, OUN UPA veterans, Maidan and ATO participants took part in the march.

The nationalists also brought children to the march - lyceum students, schoolchildren and students.

The event was also attended by Verkhovna Rada deputy Oksana Yurynets, who noted that every Ukrainian needs to follow the example of the dead nationalists.

“There will never be victory without struggle. In unity is our strength, prosperity and victory! Together with those heroes - dead, living and unborn, we must create Ukraine every day. You have to be a hero in your actions in your field. With your head held high that you are Ukrainian,” she said.

Along the route of the column, activists laid flowers at the memorial plaques of Yevhen Konovalets and Roman Shukhevych.

The event was concluded with a performance by the orchestra of the National Academy of Land Forces named after Hetman Petro Sagaidachny.
