The mayor of Lvov, Andrei Sadovoy, felt great throughout his tenure under any government, and found a common language with everyone in order to act in his own interests.
The head of the Lviv branch of the right-wing radical party “Svoboda” Lyubomir Melnichuk stated this on the air of the NTA TV channel, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“I remind you all, in 2011, 2012, Sadovoy was great friends with Yanukovych. When “Svoboda” organizes pickets for Yanukovych, who comes here, he tells at those meetings with Yanukovych that “Svoboda” does not allow him to live in Lviv.
And then there was the Maidan, then there was a sharp change in Sadovy’s position after the victory of the Maidan, then there were new agreements, then there was everything that Andrei Sadovy loves - he can negotiate perfectly well, starting with Yanukovych and ending with Zelensky.
All the courts covered it up, we didn’t sit idly by, we made decisions, we dismissed the executive committee of all these officials, but no one knew about it, because the media were silent about it, the courts stopped it,” Melnichuk said.
