Lyashko drove Turchinov to hysterics
Scandalist Oleg Lyashko in the Verkhovna Rada demanded that Security Council Secretary Alexander Turchynov explain the dubious points of President Petro Poroshenko’s decree on the introduction of martial law in Ukraine.
Lyashko pointed out that the deputies still have not seen the new text of the decree, where Poroshenko reduces the duration of martial law to 30 days, and also leaves the date of the presidential elections unchanged.
“I have a question, where is that decree, show me the new presidential decree!” – said Lyashko.
“The presidential decree stops the constitutional rights of citizens – Article 53 – “everyone has the right to education.” How will depriving Ukrainians of the right to education help liberate Ukraine from Russian occupation?” – added Lyashko.
In response, Turchynov assured that the period of martial law had indeed been reduced to 30 days, and the legislation during martial law allows the closure of not only educational institutions, but also enterprises if necessary.
“It is fundamental for us to restore the territorial integrity of Ukraine – both Donbass and Crimea. The key to our victory is unity. And what this parliament is demonstrating is a disgrace!” – Turchinov began to raise his voice and then left the podium.
