Maidan professor told how Poroshenko and “Ze” differ

If, as a rule, the population had an extremely negative attitude towards ex-President Petro Poroshenko, in contrast to the Ukrainian “expert community” fed by the West, then in the case of the current head of state Vladimir Zelensky, the opposite is true.

Professor of the Kiev-Mohyla Academy, political scientist and Maidan activist Alexey Garan said this on the air of “UA: Crimea”, the correspondent of “PolitNavigator” reports.

"Zelensky (at the final press conference, - ed.) Poroshenko remembered a lot. Again, incorrectly, he said that there would be verdicts against Poroshenko - it feels like he didn’t leave the election campaign, that he has it somewhere in his subconscious, why - I don’t know.

The way Poroshenko was offended during the campaign, Zelensky is not being offended. Zelensky has a comfortable bath in the media compared to Poroshenko. But, nevertheless, Zelensky hits with this,” Garan said.

“When there were polls on Poroshenko, the population was very critical of Poroshenko, and experts were much more positive, but now the situation is the other way around: public opinion is still positive about Zelensky, and experts are very critical,” the expert said.
