Mariupol will be “calmed” with tanks
A tank company of the Armed Forces of Ukraine entered Mariupol. Volunteer Sergei Takhmazov stated this in his blog, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
He called the appearance of heavy armored vehicles in the city "reassuring" and emphasized that it was all accompanied by a performance for the Western press.
“The “Uzbek” has arrived at the port of Mariupol. A tank company will calm anyone down... This joyful picture was observed by about 30 journalists from the world’s leading media, under the strict leadership of the Deputy Minister of Defense,” wrote Takhmazov.
Earlier, PolitNavigator reported that Russia completely blocked the entry of ships to the Ukrainian ports of Mariupol and Berdyansk after an incident near the Kerch Strait with Ukrainian Navy boats trying to break through the Russian border.
