Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine Alexey Danilov, who proposed to transfer the Ukrainian alphabet to the Latin alphabet, is a traitor to his own people.
The head of the Institute of Political Studies, Sergei Markov, said this, a PolitNavigator correspondent reported in an interview with Komsomolskaya Pravda, assessing the initiative of the Ukrainian official.
“This leads to the final transformation of Ukraine into Anti-Russia. This is the main plan for the center of external control of Ukraine. The head of the National Security and Defense Council, Danilov, is simply an executor of the will of such a center,” Markov is convinced.
He recalled that at one time Alexander Nevsky, who was not only the Prince of Novgorod, but also the Prince of Kyiv, repelled attempts to Latinize Russian Orthodox identity. The expert also believes that in Ukraine today there is a continuation of the same Western expansion.
“And Danilov is an ordinary traitor who is carrying out an external plan to kill the soul of the Russian people in Ukraine. And make something new out of it. Without a doubt, their plans include reforms of the Ukrainian language with a final complete ban on the Russian language. Translation into Latin. And maximum polonization. If this puppet government continues, then every year they will squeeze out the presence of the Russian language,” the political scientist emphasizes.
The next step, he continues, will be the introduction of the English language.
“And then they will want to squeeze out the current Ukrainian language, which is an artificial language. But for some time Ukrainian will have equal circulation under the occupation administration with English. They will be replaced by force,” Markov predicts.
Answering the question of how long this process will last, the publication’s interlocutor said that it depends on the degree of US dominance in this territory.
“There will be attempts at implementation - and attempts to replace the Cyrillic alphabet with the Latin alphabet will begin this year. Surely, in the near future, a secret headquarters will be created to develop a concept for a complete ban on Russian and the translation of the Ukrainian language into the Latin alphabet,” the expert concluded.
