“Master of political bargaining” Belik is again running for elections in Sevastopol

Sevastopol, July 07 (Navigator, Viktor Orlov) – Well-known Sevastopol deputy Dmitry Belik, not included in the United Russia list, it seems, will try to independently enter the legislative assembly in the autumn elections, running as a majoritarian in the constituency that the politician has been “covering” over the past years.

This is stated in Belik’s “Newsletter” distributed through mailboxes.

True, Belik traditionally announces his participation in the elections in constituency No. 3 cautiously, as if leaving the opportunity for “retreat.”

“With a high degree of probability, I plan to take part in this election campaign. Moreover, in this campaign I plan to be a majoritarian deputy, to go to my constituency,” the politician said.

The last time Belik announced his participation in the elections was last year, when he also hoped to enter the Verkhovna Rada in the majority constituency.

However, maintaining the intrigue until the last moment, the politician eventually withdrew his candidacy, declaring support for the “regional” Vadim Novinsky.

Soon after this, Belik was appointed to the post of vice-governor of Sevastopol. He was unable to retain this post after the Russian governor Sergei Menyailo came to power.

Navigator previously reported that Belik also hoped to become a senator from Sevastopol, however, this scenario was never realized.
