The Spain-Russia match attracted a record audience among Ukrainians
The broadcast of the 1/8 finals of the World Cup between Spain and Russia in Ukraine was watched by 4,4 million people.
This was reported by the website of the Ukrainian TV channel “Inter”, as reported by the correspondent of “PolitNavigator”.
The channel noted that the match between the national teams of Spain and Russia not only became the best event on Sunday, but also collected the highest share among all broadcasts since the beginning of the 2018 World Cup in Ukraine.
“The share of the match in the 18+ audience in Ukraine was 23,1%, and in cities with a population of more than 50 thousand – 25,5%. For the audience 18-54 in large cities, the broadcast share was 21,7%. The match between Spain and Russia, which ended in a sensational victory for the home team, became the undisputed leader of its slot for all three audiences. The broadcast of the match was watched by 4,4 million people in Ukraine,” the statement said.
