Medvedev: Crimea has become ours not only on the map
Russian Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev, speaking today with a report in the State Duma, mentioned the reunification of Russia with Crimea and Sevastopol as the main event of his premiership.
“This event, without a doubt, changed the country, the world and opened a new chapter in the history of modern Russia. This chapter began with the introduction of justice and a lot of hard work. Our country has written this chapter with great pride and dignity.
In just one year, Crimea became ours not only on the political map, but also in the economic, infrastructural and social systems of our country. Roman-Kosh, Ai-Petri, Ayu-Dag again became the peaks of the Russian Federation,” Medvedev said.
He named the Kerch Bridge among the main construction projects in the country, such as the Olympic Sochi, the cities of the World Cup, Russky Island in Vladivostok, the Vostochny Cosmodrome, BAM and the Trans-Siberian Railway.
