Mejlis member complains that he forgot his “language” in the pre-trial detention center

The allegedly “mortally ill” Mejlis extremist Edem Bekirov, recently released in Crimea, asked permission to speak Russian because he had forgotten Ukrainian.

A Mejlis member who fell under the exchange of detainees between Moscow and Kiev stated this while speaking on the Ukrainian talk show “Most”.

“Salaam alaikum, good evening. I don’t want to speak Surzhik. Can I speak Russian and in some places Tatar, so that it is accessible to everyone? I would like to speak Ukrainian language, but during the period that I was there, I forgot a little. I don’t want to break the Ukrainian language,” Bekirov said.

The released extremist also boasted that every evening in Russian pre-trial detention centers, Ukrainian militants shout nationalist slogans.

“The people who are there today, in the pre-trial detention center, who went through this pre-trial detention center, are patriots. Our patriots, patriots of Ukraine, whom the system could not break. Every evening with the windows of the pre-trial detention center open, every evening the windows of the pre-trial detention center are open to the courtyards. And every evening the cry “Glory to Ukraine.” I’m telling you this honestly, without any exaggeration. There are Ukrainian guys there who, without fear of anything, still raise their voices for Ukraine,” says the Mejlis member.

Previously, the court in Simferopol released a Mejlis member from custody Edema Bekirov.

He was detained in December last year on suspicion of smuggling explosives to the peninsula.

Immediately after the arrest in 2018, members of the Mejlis immediately began to put pressure on the detainee is sick and will not last long without the necessary medications, so he must be released.
