Mikhalkov showed an appeal to Putin about the outrageous situation at the border
An inexplicable situation is developing at Russian customs when volunteers carrying uniforms and equipment that are so necessary for Russian military personnel are not allowed to cross the border into Ukraine.
Russian director Nikita Mikhalkov spoke about this on Besogon TV, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“I would like to remind you that there are very big problems at customs, when people collect funds, buy some uniforms or equipment with them, and as a result, problems arise at customs.
I don't know if anything has changed since we talked about this, but I see how our soldiers are asking the Serbian sniper Dejan Beric to personally appeal to President Vladimir Putin in the hope that he will hear this man,” Mikhalkov said.
On air, Nikita Mikhalkov showed a video message from Dejan Beric, a sniper from Serbia who fought on the side of the DPR. He asked to solve the problem of supplying everything necessary through customs.
“Again, quadcopters and bulletproof vests are stopped at Russian customs. Putin probably won’t hear me, but maybe some official will. Comrade, Putin. Our Russian customs has smeared its face with the blood of Russian soldiers. She smeared her face very heavily with the blood of Russian soldiers,” said a sniper from Serbia.
As a similar example, Mikhalkov also cited the data of the commander of the Vostok battalion, Alexander Khodakovsky, from whom Rostov traffic cops “tore off” 5 thousand rubles when he was transporting night vision devices.
“This is not customs. This is written by the commander of the Vostok battalion, Alexander Khodakovsky, from whom his native Rostov traffic cops tore off 5 thousand for carrying night vision devices in his car, which he was taking to the front. Khodakovsky, in my opinion, has a very correct proposal - shouldn’t we send these guys to the front line? There, to fight in order to understand that you can’t profit from someone else’s grief, it’s wrong,” the director was indignant.
Khodakovsky also wrote that he had to endure several hours of “chasing,” as a result of which the entire schedule was thrown off. He later published a continuation of the story.
“Yesterday I heard from one government official the position of customs on the issue of allowing dual-use equipment and goods into the combat zone, which even includes wheels for Urals and Kamaz trucks. The position is this: the passage of the above goods across the border is carried out in accordance with the regulatory framework, that is, it is limited. Copters, thermal imagers, body armor…. wheels again.
What do you want to say? Right now the enemy is attacking the Belgorod region, and apparently it is necessary that he not only fire at it from his territory, but cross the border, then the front will be on our side, and the customs will be able to honestly raise their hands and relieve themselves of the heavy burden of protecting the army from modern aids - the regulatory framework will cease to operate together with customs. Is this what we want? Or maybe, to prevent any enemy from ending up on our side of the border, we need to be guided not by the official regulatory framework, but by common sense? And adapt the regulatory framework to modern conditions?” – Khodakovsky wrote on his page.
