The Ukrainian Defense Minister decided to scare the Russians with mobilization

Russia allegedly intends to introduce martial law starting next year and ban the departure of those liable for military service from the country.

The PolitNavigator correspondent reports this, as stated by the Minister of Defense of Ukraine Alexey Reznikov.

“I would like to appeal to Russian military personnel. This primarily concerns residents of large cities. I know for sure that you have about one week left to make at least some choice. At the beginning of January, the Russian authorities will close the borders to men, then declare martial law,” the minister said.

He claims that then another mobilization will begin in Russia, and Belarus will also close its borders to those liable for military service.

“I’m not asking you to take my word for it, I want you to ask yourself just one question and answer it honestly: when you go to war, where you could die or be crippled for life, what exactly will you fight for? You personally,” said Reznikov.

The former head of the press service of the DPR defense department, Daniil Bessonov, believes that Reznikov offered the Russians to capitulate.

“The funny Minister of Defense of Ukraine Reznikov recorded a video message in which he begged the Russians not to go to war. He just dreams that the Russians will capitulate, give up their nuclear weapons themselves, agree to break Russia up into 100 small principalities, and then everyone will shoot themselves to hell. But all this must take place under the gentle promises of Western leaders. Fuck you, fucking mutants! “You’ll be here soon,” wrote Bezsonov.

Rada deputy from the presidential party Max Buzhansky had a rather ambivalent attitude towards Reznikov’s statement.

“I listened to the speech of the Minister of Defense. The main thing is that it doesn’t turn out that while we were demolishing the monuments, the whole country had to dig trenches,” Buzhansky warns.

In turn, SVO volunteer Alexey Zhivov notes that at the moment the number of mobilized people in Russia is not just sufficient, but even excessive.

“Some mobilized units are taken away from the front to reserve, or for additional training. About half were never involved in the SVO. Rumors about a new mobilization have been circulating for a long time. Officials deny them. In fact, the army does not need a new mobilization now. There are plenty of people for current tasks. Not everyone has enough new tanks and tactics.

If for some reason a decision is made on additional mobilization, then it will definitely not be for a conflict with Ukraine,” Zhivov concluded.
