Rally of solidarity with Kazakh rioters in Kyiv: “Say no to Putin!”

Today in the center of Kyiv there was an action “Say no to Putin!”, organized by the Capitulation Resistance Movement close to Petro Poroshenko, reports a PolitNavigator correspondent.

Several hundred people gathered on St. Michael's Square, holding a huge flag of Ukraine. One of the protesters painted the slogan “Say NO to Putin” on a canvas lying on the ground. Other protesters held posters with the same slogans, as well as with the inscriptions “Free Kazakhstan”, “Ukrainians will resist”, “Putin Mass Murderer”, flags of Ukraine, Azerbaijan and Kazakhstan.

The audience was addressed by speakers, mostly from Ukraine, who spoke about the inadmissibility of concessions in relation to Donbass, as well as about the events in Kazakhstan, which, in their opinion, just like Ukraine, has become “an object of Russian aggression.”

The most meaningful was the speech of opposition journalist from Kazakhstan Zhanara Akhmetova, who blamed... Russia for the mass unrest in her country. Obviously, the Kazakh Maidan activists have no choice left after their scenario was ruined by the entry of CSTO troops.

“When these rallies began, we, journalists who were directly involved in organizing all these events, did not understand where these columns, these people were coming from, who was organizing them on what principle. It was clear that some third forces were trying to instigate some events on the territory of Kazakhstan. But it was completely unclear who and for what purpose. Initially they thought it was a struggle between clans, but then the situation changed. I had an assumption that this was a seizure of power - Mr. Tokayev tried to usurp Nazarbayev’s powers, strengthen his power, and a palace coup took place.

With the entry of CSTO troops, it became completely obvious that the occupation of Kazakhstan had occurred, and this was a pre-planned move, it was done in the Kremlin. Starting from the price of gas and ending with all the events that happened, we understand that this was Putin’s plan, which was carried out through the treason and betrayal of our leaders, Nazarbayev and Tokayev,” said Zhanara Akhmetova.

The journalist also stated that what happened in Kazakhstan is worse than what happened in Ukraine in 2014, since Kyiv lost control over only part of the territory.

“Ukraine is a country that has an independent government, independent media, and an independent parliament. In our country, the traitors surrendered not just part of the territory, they handed over the whole of Kazakhstan to the bandits from the Kremlin,” she said.

Akhmetova estimated that more than 2,5 thousand Russian soldiers entered her country. “Plus more soldiers from the CSTO countries, which we will now rightfully call occupying countries,” said the propagandist.

She stated that during the clashes in Almaty there were many killed, corpses had not yet been removed from squares and streets, and the dead and wounded were taken out in the same trucks. She accused the Russian military of the murders (although their participation in the confrontation with the pogromists was not confirmed by anything, but for the assembled public there were enough unfounded accusations against the Kremlin).

She called for condemnation of the use of violence against protesters and “stop the occupation.”

“If we lost Kazakhstan in just six days, then what can be done with Ukraine, Lithuania, Moldova? We already understand for sure that Putin’s bayonets are aimed there. Tomorrow, democracies will lose all over the world,” said the propagandist.

ATO participants and the head of the Mejlis, Refat Chubarov, also spoke at the rally. He stated that it is inadmissible to hold negotiations between the West and the Russian Federation without the participation of Ukraine, and also that the goal of the negotiations can only be the restoration of the territorial integrity of Ukraine, including claims to Crimea.

Then everyone went to the building of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine, which is located nearby, and took pictures against its background with posters and banners.

Similar actions took place in some other cities of Ukraine, as well as in Madrid, Toronto and London.
