Graveyard in Lviv: an armless Galician received a summons

Residents of Lvov, to whom they come home with summonses, almost never open their doors to military registration and enlistment officers.

The anti-Russian propaganda online publication Ukrainskaya Pravda writes about this, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.

“The military registration and enlistment office patrol walks around with blank forms with a seal and the signature of the head of the TCC [territorial recruitment center], although by law each form must already be filled out for a specific person. However, it is clear that in practice following the letter of the law would dramatically reduce the ability of recruitment centers to recruit the required number of people. And as a result, it would affect the country’s defense capability,” the publication justifies the illegal actions.

At the same time, the head of the Lvov regional TCC, Alexander Tishchenko, complains that people are not eager to go to war.

“I have a question for those who talk about the legal aspects of the work of the TCC, talk about how subpoenas are served incorrectly. Why don’t lawyers say: “Guys, why aren’t you doing the right thing: if you announced mobilization, you must come without a summons”? For some reason, lawyers take the other side. In addition to rights, we also have responsibilities. But for some reason they prefer to forget about them,” Tishchenko is indignant.

According to him, most often subpoenas are served at enterprises, checkpoints and at places of residence.

“However, Tishchenko admits, in the last version almost no one opens the door,” UP reports his words.

Further in the publication there is a blatant case when in January of this year, a resident of Drohobych in the Lviv region, Ruslan Kubay, was given a summons. At the same time, he is a disabled person of the 1st group - he has had no hands since childhood.

“At the appointed hour he came to the TCC, and there he was sent to a military medical commission. The Military Military Commission gave him the mark “74-B”, which suggests: the person is unfit for military service in peacetime, but is of limited suitability in wartime,” the publication says.

As a result, Kubay had to turn to lawyers and authorities to prove his disability.

And only after the outcry was he declared unfit for military service and removed from the military register.
