I can throw a grenade at you too – Savchenko replied to Lutsenko

Verkhovna Rada deputy Nadezhda Savchenko, accused of preparing terrorist attacks, started a skirmish with Prosecutor General Yuriy Lutsenko at a meeting of the regulations committee.

Thus, Lutsenko reminded Savchenko of his hunger strike and hinted that, unlike her, he came out of prison thinner, the PolitNavigator correspondent reports.

“You don’t need me to remember that death is near. I was there on the 31st day of the hunger strike, and I know what it is. Only then I lost 23 kilograms and got 16 holes in my stomach. And you came out stuffed with Russian propaganda about weapons on the Maidan, about money on the Maidan,” Lutsenko said.

“No, I was on the Maidan and saw your crimes,” Savchenko retorted.

“I didn’t interrupt you - chew pomegranates...” Lutsenko snapped, after which he went into references to history, but the argument continued, and he again invited Savchenko to chew pomegranate fruits, which she brought with her.

- I can share. Or maybe throw it?,” Savchenko suggested.

Further, the Prosecutor General stated that now the power in Ukraine is unshakable and it is impossible to talk about changing it by force.

“All the blood began with nonsense about the right of someone to use force against legal authorities,” Lutsenko said.

But Savchenko interrupted him again, reminding him of what happened on the Maidan during the coup.

“What are you talking about? And remember your words on the Maidan!” she recalled the words of Lutsenko, who publicly promised weapons from the stage of the Maidan.
