Moldova is completely losing its independence

The order to arrest the former President of Moldova Igor Dodon comes not from his successor Maia Sandu, but from Washington.

Moldovan political scientist Vladimir Bucarsky said this on the air of the Public News Service, the PolitNavigator correspondent reports.

“Maia Sandu does not make any decisions. She is an absolutely dependent person. She was appointed to the post of president in the West as an absolutely controlled puppet. All her actions, including the unprecedented arrest of the former president, were carried out on command from the outside,” Bukarsky said.

He referred to the words of Dodon, who said that several dozen American prosecutors were working on his case.

“You don’t have to look far for examples. In the presidential palace, an entire floor is given over to the President of the Adenaur Foundation, Martin Sieg, who is based in Chisinau and is Sandu’s official adviser. That is, in Chisinau an absolute regime of external control has been established, which controls everything. Moldova has de facto completely lost its independence,” Bucarsky said.

Last week, Igor Dodon was placed under house arrest on suspicion of corruption and treason.
