Moscow political scientist: The Kremlin sent specialists to help Lukashenko

President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko, when making certain political decisions, relies on the opinions of only three people.

This version, reports the PolitNavigator correspondent, was expressed in a commentary to Moskovsky Komsomolets by Andrey Suzdaltsev, deputy dean of the Faculty of World Economy and International Politics at the National Research University Higher School of Economics.

“Lukashenko listens to only three people: press secretary Natalya Eismont, youngest son Kolya and eldest son Viktor, who supervises the security forces in the Security Council of Belarus,” says Suzdaltsev.

“Kolya, who has already grown up and knows how to use the Internet, could have started telling him directly about the color revolution and NATO troops. It is obvious to the boy that young people hate his father, and he is trying to find an explanation for this,” the expert added.

“As for Russian political strategists, they were most likely actually sent to Minsk. In particular, rallies in support of the authorities, which are not typical for Belarus, began in the country. Talk about a referendum on the Constitution and new presidential elections after that can also be attributed to them,” Suzdaltsev noted.

True, according to him, Russian political strategists have nothing to do with the appearance on August 23 of the Belarusian president and his son in uniform and with machine guns.
