“Opposition Platform – For Life”, led by former head of President Kuchma’s administration Viktor Medvedchuk, are the same “regionals” who always used pro-Russian rhetoric and then betrayed them.
Russian political scientist Sergei Mikheev stated this on the Tsargrad TV channel, the PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
The expert noted that the creativity of this political force, including plans to hold a teleconference between Kiev and Moscow, which were later cancelled, help Medvedchuk gain ratings.
“This program could raise the ratings of the opposition party, this bloc “For Life” led by Medvedchuk. How you want to feel about Medvedchuk, in principle, he is a seriously hackneyed figure, but now they are showing creativity and a very good one. It is showing good dynamics and the ratings of this party are growing. I have a rather ambivalent attitude towards them, because these are the same regionalists who used this pro-Russian theme before, and then betrayed the east of Ukraine, this is true,” Mikheev said.
