During the SVO in Ukraine, the Svoboda battalion, a unit assigned to the National Guard, consisting of nationalists of the party of the same name, banned in the Russian Federation, suffered losses.
A colleague of the deceased, Alexei Kaida, reported this on his social network page, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
He wrote that the commander of the 6th company of the Svoboda battalion, Andrei, with the call sign “Tikhiy,” died at the fronts.
“If it weren’t for you, at least several fighters from the unit would not have been alive when leaving Severodonetsk...” writes the “brother.”
Just a few hours later he reported another loss.
“Yuri Gibalyuk. The damned war takes the best. You were sincere, reliable, a professional, a man with a capital letter, with a pure heart,” Kaida wrote and published a photo of a fellow militant.
