The center of the village of Novye Sanzhary in the Poltava region, where Ukrainian citizens and foreigners evacuated from China will be brought, was blocked by security forces and armored vehicles.

It is reported that security forces cordoned off the area of the bridge over the Vorskla River in anticipation of the passage of buses with evacuees, who will be housed in a sanatorium owned by the National Guard of Ukraine.
Before this, security forces and local residents, who demanded that the evacuees not be allowed into the village, started a brawl.
“Detachments of law enforcement officers and military personnel began to arrive at the bridge over the Vorskla River, in the center of the village. Law enforcement officers use an armored personnel carrier to pull away the equipment with which local residents tried to block the bridge. Protesters also began blocking the passage with tires. Law enforcement officers tried to unblock the bridge, but the protesters repeated their actions,” the report said.
