In Ukraine they realized that it would not be possible to unblock ports for the export of grain

In Turkey, Russia shapes the information agenda, so Ukraine cannot trust its Turkish partners.

Vladimir Kopchak, an expert at the Kyiv Center for the Study of the Army, Conversion and Disarmament, stated this on air on the Ukrlive.TV channel, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.

“The information field, if we talk about it in black and white cinema, it [in Turkey] is pro-Russian in the context that the United States and the West are trying to weaken Russia, we need to understand and forgive it, that the West is interested in this war, that Ukraine needs to stop because So many people are dying, start negotiating. These are the narratives that we won’t be able to break overnight,” Kopchak stated.

He added that based on this, one should not rely on Turkey as a partner for exporting grain by sea.

“Ukraine is now in the state of subjectivity that it has to position itself in this tangle of problems, to very firmly defend its interests, in simple terms: unblocking and demining Ukrainian ports after the cessation of hostilities on the part of the Russian Federation, which can only come with its defeat. Scenarios of defeat may be different, no one is talking about military defeat,” the expert explained.
