Former Euromaidan and ATO participant Alexander Medinsky, disillusioned with the new authorities and left for Finland, from where he criticizes the Ukrainian authorities on the Open Ukraine Internet channel, may face criminal prosecution in his homeland. Kyiv has long introduced censorship against dissidents.
Ukrainian lawyer Andrei Gozhy spoke about this on air on the channel, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“You breathed in the air of freedom here and believed in the fairy tale that a court can call a person a “traitor to the Motherland” and a “propagandist.” But this is not the case in Ukraine,” the lawyer noted ironically.
“We have a list of special persons and TV channels associated with the person whose sweets I eat from morning to night. Therefore, a certain list of persons who will not suffer anything for this can name a person in Ukraine without trial, investigation, or sanctions.
So, he committed a crime, some Zoryan or Shkiryak, Anton [Gerashchenko] speaks out and can immediately say “Putin is to blame”, “The hand of the Kremlin”, “Medinsky is a separator and an enemy intelligence officer”, “Muravitsky is a Kremlin hack”, “Vasilets” “Putin’s posipaka (sycophant - ed.),” said Gozhy.
