As a result of a smoke bomb explosion, a Ukrainian soldier lost three fingers of his right hand.
The head of the press service of the People's Militia of the LPR, Yakov Osadchy, announced this at a briefing, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“On August 6, as a result of careless handling of ammunition, a soldier of the battalion tactical group of the 95th separate airborne assault brigade of the combined 46th separate airborne assault brigade, which arrived to replace the notorious 25th separate airborne brigade, was injured,” he said. According to his information, Private Razarenko tried to set fire to a smoke bomb to prank his colleagues.
“However, instead of the expected smoke screen, the saber exploded in the hands of a serviceman. Razarenko received an explosive injury, as a result of which three fingers of the victim’s right hand were amputated,” said Osadchy
The representative of the defense department added that the fact of injury is carefully hidden by the brigade command from the higher command.
