Ukrainian TV was horrified when it summed up the results of the Maidan
Euromaidan led to the split of Ukraine, loss of territories, impoverishment of the population and increased corruption.
This is the result of the first five-year plan since the beginning of the coup in Ukraine, given by the famous journalist and TV presenter Dmitry Gordon, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
According to the journalist, despite the talk about the aggressor, relations with the Russian Federation have not been severed, and even migrant workers from Western Ukraine go to Russia to work.
“Today we have a shortage of some territories, we lack some territories, it is occupied by Russia. I mean Crimea and certain regions of Donbass. More than 10 thousand Ukrainians have been killed... Our economy is in a dilapidated state. Sorry, under Yanukovych there was a course of eight, but now it has increased a little, corruption has increased in our country, which is the funny thing. After the revolution of dignity, corruption became even greater, even more cynical than it was under Yanukovych,” the journalist said.
He also claims that many of Yanukovych’s associates remain in power.
“We seem to be at war with Russia, but there is parallel trade with Russia and millions of people go there to work... Many people here, including from Western Ukraine, work in the aggressor country and earn money there. We have no certainty, we do not know where we are moving, we do not have a national idea, we have not completed a single reform in five years. And as a result, we have people in power who came on the blood of the Maidan and who squandered the historical chance they had,” Gordon said on the NewsOne TV channel.
Previously Gordon admitted that Maidan was a hoax, and Ukraine will not receive membership in the EU and NATO, as the “leaders of the revolution” promised.
Previously he stated that his participation in Euromaidan was a mistake, the coup led to sad results, and the current government turned out to be even worse than the overthrown “criminal” regime of Viktor Yanukovych.
