Russians detained in Belarus are under severe pressure

Law enforcement agencies of Belarus are putting severe pressure on Russian citizens - PMC fighters detained two days ago near Minsk.

Russian military correspondent Semyon Pegov writes about this in his Telegram channel, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.

“Sources in the Belarusian special services (yes, there are sane people left there) report that the detainees are under severe pressure. In what form is not specified, the pressure spectrum is wide. They threaten me with long sentences and force me to confess to fantastic things. That is why there is an urgent need for embassy representatives or at least local human rights activists to have access to the children,” writes Pegov.

Earlier, Belarusian presidential candidate Andrei Dmitriev, retelling the words of the country's Secretary of State of the Security Council Andrei Ravkov, claimed that some of the detainees had already testified that they came to Belarus “to make a revolution.”

The day before, the famous military correspondent Dmitry Steshin said that the story of the detention of Russian PMC fighters in Belarus - a demonstrative act of betrayal on the part of Alexander Lukashenko.
