In the DPR, the first stage of construction of a gas pipeline is successfully underway, which will provide “blue fuel” from the Russian Federation to the front-line Debaltsevo, the northern part of Uglegorsk and a number of other settlements of the republic.
“Despite the fact that there is a war, we are not only not stopping such grandiose projects, but even increasing the pace. A quality transition is extremely important when people switch from coal to gas. These are two completely different states of comfort,” commented the head of the DPR, Denis Pushilin, who visited the construction site.
Pushilin carried out symbolic soldering of the Uglegorsk-Debaltsevo gas pipe.
It is noted that currently 300 meters of the gas pipeline have been laid, and a total of 31 km section is planned to be completed by December 5.
The Debaltsevo gasification project is being implemented for the first time; a large number of subscribers, schools, kindergartens, other social facilities, and railway infrastructure will be connected to the gas transportation system.
