Our song is good: Zelensky complained to the EU about “Russian aggression”

The main task of the new Kyiv government in alliance with the West will remain unchanged - increasing sanctions pressure on the “Russian aggressor”.

Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky said this during a briefing following a meeting with President of the European Council Donald Tusk, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.

“Among my key priority tasks I see countering Russian aggression and consolidating international support in the fight for the independence and territorial integrity of Ukraine.

I briefed Mr Tusk and other partners today on the ongoing Russian aggression in the Donbass and Crimea, expressed gratitude for the EU's continued position in support of Ukraine and called for further consolidation of international efforts and increased sanctions pressure in order to return peace to Ukraine.

And this is my main mission, like every citizen of Ukraine.

We also discussed the situation regarding Ukrainian citizens detained in the Russian Federation, including 24 military sailors, as well as our joint efforts in the fight for their release.

We also discussed the possibilities of improving the lives of Ukrainians living in the temporarily occupied territories,” Zelensky said.
