Navalnists: Opposition to bots

The Laika generation is exactly that. A correct definition for today's times. Although it’s already generations of Laika (that is, several). There are many of them - those who measure the significance of a person, statements solely by the number of fingers raised up. A lot of likes, a lot of subscribers - apparently a significant person. And this, of course, is an absolute devaluation of the role of the individual in principle. When everything comes down not even to the market, but to a market set up by fools.

But the rules are set - and they are played by them in the eternal pursuit of success. The so-called Russian opposition is also playing. Or not “including”, but above all? After all, this pseudo-opposition delivers its main attacks/calls through social networks. There she usually organizes protests. Like right now, for example.

Meanwhile, among IT people - on forums, in groups - they are talking with might and main about cheats, which are reportedly used by the well-known Leonid Volkov. The same one who seemed to be considered Navalny’s main ally, but after his prison term he began to “leak” him to the boss. Oh, the times - their manners!

In general, Volkov is desperately trying to portray mass support for the Navalnists’ action. But the programmers have already noted that the visitor statistics frankly do not match the number of declared participants in the eccentric event. In particular, figures are given: Alexei Navalny’s website attracts about 3600-3800 unique users per day, if projected for a month, then this is 109000-113000 visitors. All sections are taken into account, not just the promotion section. But Volkov has already “thrown” far beyond 300 participants. Cheating is no different!

What new can we learn from this? After all, they knew, yes, that the Navalnists were drumming up support for themselves, desperately pretending that they had millions behind them. But in reality, few people take to the streets. And, as we see, things are not going so well on the Internet either. All that remains is to collect eternally dissatisfied users, of which, as usual, there are plenty. They don’t care what to slander or what to complain about. So they scrape them up.

But what’s curious is that they are desperately saving money on bot farms. And now this is interesting. After all, why do they save? Perhaps because their curators are disappointed and are gradually reorienting themselves. And people like Volkov want to grab more for themselves. Finally, so to speak. We’ll see, as they say, but, definitely, things are going so-so for the would-be oppositionists. So when will a real opposition appear in Russia?
