The last president in the short history of Ukraine has been named
Yulia Tymoshenko will become the President of Ukraine in the upcoming elections in March next year.
Political scientist Alexey Martynov stated this today on the Vesti FM radio station.
“I think she has a very good chance. She will finally achieve her lifelong dream. I think that Ukraine will end with it. This will be the last president of Ukraine,” Martynov said.
He clarified that the point is not in Tymoshenko’s personality, but in the fragility of Ukrainian statehood.
“Structures like modern Ukrainian statehood always have a limited service life. She's already done. Yulia Vladimirovna will come, twist the last drops from this sponge, and that’s it,” the expert believes.
At the same time, he refused to predict what would happen on the territory of Ukraine after its collapse.
“I can’t even imagine,” Martynov said.
