Ukraine is deliberately inventing an external enemy to hide its failures from its own population.
The Head of the Government of the Republic of Crimea, Sergei Aksyonov, stated this on the Rossiya-1 TV channel, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
Aksyonov made such a statement in the context of discussing the news that Ukrainian patriots came out with the flags of Ukraine to the northern border of Crimea, thus celebrating the “Independence Day” of their country.
“When the government of a country has no other reasons for its citizens to show their activities, and there are no positive results of the activities of the government of Ukraine and the President of Ukraine physically, then they look for external enemies. They are trying to say something, to prove that the Crimeans, or the Donetsk people, or anyone else are to blame, but not them. Many build their political careers on this. In the absence of achievements, whoever is smart enough to come and raise the flag higher,” says the Prime Minister of Crimea.
