Dissatisfaction with the work of Poroshenko and the Cabinet of Ministers has reached a critical point - sociologist

More than 80% of Ukrainian residents surveyed negatively assess the work of Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko and the Cabinet of Ministers headed by Vladimir Groysman.

Alexander Levtsun, head of the sociological programs of the Sofia Center for Social Research, considered close to the former head of the administration of Viktor Yanukovych Sergei Levochkin, spoke about this during the press conference “2018: past and experienced,” Alexander Levtsun reports.

“The population is extremely dissatisfied with the way the country’s leadership is working. The overwhelming majority, namely 81,9% of respondents, to one degree or another do not approve of the work of Petro Poroshenko as President of Ukraine. 13,5% of respondents assess Poroshenko’s activities positively. At the same time, only 2,8% of respondents fully approve of his work.

Compared to December 2017, the share of positive assessments decreased from 19,5% to 13,5%. At the same time, the share of negative assessments increased – from 76% to 82%. This is a significant decrease in assessments of the president’s performance and an increase in the negative trend.

The activities of the government are viewed equally critically. 86,9% of respondents categorically disapprove or rather disapprove of the work of the Cabinet of Ministers,” the expert noted.

Let us recall that earlier Russian political scientist Rostislav Ishchenko said that Petro Poroshenko shared the fate of his predecessor Viktor Yanukovych, having lost the support of the country's security and administrative structures.
