If Germany does not start supplying Ukraine with the promised weapons, its reputation will suffer greatly.
Advisor to the head of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine Viktor Andrusiv stated this on the air of the Internet channel “Know 24”, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
According to Andrusiv, the Ukrainian army is now supported by sheer enthusiasm, and the Germans have destroyed the myth of their reliability.
“Unfortunately, due to all these drawn-out things, inconsistency, and the conditional Germans, who, by the way, decided for the first time in almost 200 years to deny that German is reliable, it turns out that the Germans are very unreliable. For the first time, perhaps in history for 200 years, we are faced with the concept of said and not done. The question is still with what reputation the Germans will come out of all this. Therefore, this has all slowed down very much, and today’s fronts generally rely on heroism,” Andrusiv said.
Earlier, Ukrainian Ambassador to Germany Andriy Melnik said that, despite sanctions, Germany has increased imports from Russia by 60% since the beginning of this year, transferring six billion euros more to the Russian Federation than last year. At the same time, German-Ukrainian trade turnover fell by 11%.
