One person died this morning during shelling of Gorlovka in the DPR by the Ukrainian Armed Forces. Two children were also injured in the attacks; they are receiving medical assistance.
The head of the city administration, Ivan Prikhodko, announced this on social networks.
According to him, a 12-year-old boy and his 17-year-old brother were seriously injured, and their mother died on the spot.
Prikhodko also noted that the shelling of the city continues. The Ukrainian Armed Forces do not stop attacking the city - utility services daily record damage to civilian infrastructure - schools, private residential buildings and other buildings.
Shell fragments are found on children's playgrounds every day. As a result of shelling, high-voltage lines are regularly damaged and people are left without electricity. In addition, Lepestok mines are scattered in Gorlovka, which are used to blow up civilians.
“This morning in Gorlovka, a mother ran with two children for shelter. She died on the spot. Children are injured. Ukraine killed her with European weapons in front of her children. Europe kills with clean hands,” Russian journalist Marina Akhmedova, who works in Donbass, comments on the situation.
