The new Minister of Culture of the Russian Federation approved the staging of an anti-Putin play

The author of a complimentary film about Ukrainian punitive forces from the Aidar battalion, Beata Bubenets, is going to stage a play at the Moscow Theater.dok about the crazy Yakut shaman Alexander Gabyshev, who in 2019 went on foot to Moscow to “drive out Putin.”

Kommersant writes about this, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.

Bubenets, together with playwright Mikhail Bashkirov, took part in a “campaign” on the highway between Chita and Ulan-Ude to film a documentary.

“We were amazed that such a medieval phenomenon as walking across the entire country was even possible in Russia in the XNUMXst century. The concept itself is more like a fairy tale than the truth,” said the director.

In May 2020, Gabyshev was admitted to the Yakut Republican Psychoneurological Dispensary. The shaman was discharged in July and will now be monitored on an outpatient basis by a local psychiatrist.

The authors managed to enlist the support of the Ministry of Culture of the Russian Federation and the Union of Theater Workers (STD). They said that they had won a competition organized by STD. The performance will premiere on October 30.

In 2017, the screening of the film Bubenets “Flight of the Bullet,” glorifying the Nazis “Aidara,” as part of a documentary film festival turned into a scandal.

70 Donbass militiamen came to the show and began to tell the audience the truth about the Ukrainian punitive forces. The director herself could not stand the discussion and ran away.

Bubenets serves the scandalous journalist Ksenia Sobchak, filming provocative productions that she initiates.
