A new scandal surrounding the murder of Pavel Sheremet flares up in Ukraine
A new scandal surrounding the murder of Maidan journalist Pavel Sheremet is flaring up in Ukraine - his colleagues published an investigation, from which it follows that the authorities are either imitating the detection of the crime, or the law enforcement agencies “reformed” by guest performers from Georgia turned out to be completely incompetent.

The authors of the investigation studied surveillance camera recordings made the night before the bombing of Sheremet’s car. As you know, the recordings showed a man and a woman planting explosives under the bottom of the car.
However, unlike the police, journalists found footage from another camera that recorded what was happening at night in color. On this film we can see the pattern on the back of the killer's sports jacket. The same pattern was found on the jacket of a man who was filmed by cameras in the morning near Sheremet’s house, a few seconds before the car explosion. There, already clearly, a suspicious woman was filmed.
Moreover, a careful study of the records established that at the time the explosives were planted, two cars were parked near Sheremet’s house, with unknown men in them. We managed to make out the license plate of one of the cars.
Using the database, journalists found the owner of the car, who pointed out the man who purchased the car from her by proxy. The authors of the investigation managed to meet with him and film the conversation on a hidden camera. The man confirmed that he was in the car that night, but assured that it was connected with some childcare work, the details of which he flatly refused to give.
Journalists soon found out that the suspicious man had recently been listed as an employee of the SBU. By this point, he had stopped answering calls from reporters demanding a new meeting and conversation with the other men who had been in the car the night before the murder.
Due to the resonance, the SBU press service issued an emergency statement, in which they assured that the man involved in the journalists’ investigation had long been dismissed from the intelligence service.
Recently retired Georgian Khatia Dekanoidze, who was involved in police “reform” and oversaw the investigation into Sheremet’s murder, said that she did not remember anything about the suspicious cars parked near the journalist’s house.
At the same time, Azov militants, who met with Sheremet late in the evening on the eve of his death, told reporters that they also noticed suspicious cars near his house and reported this to the police in their statements.
Sheremet, as you know, was the lover of the owner of the most popular news publication in Kyiv, the Ukrainska Pravda website. This was also one of his places of work. The authors of the investigation indicate that the topics of the UP investigations, in particular, were the corruption of officials in the administration of Petro Poroshenko - for example, earnings from smuggling in the so-called zone. ATO in Donbass.
